     I spent about a year searching intensely for the right home for me.  Of course in the Valley,   it's a difficult process with getting overbid by nuts who don't do any research and just pay over listing price.
     But when I did find the right home, I got a home inspection from HomeTech.  This company was recommended by my realtor and Bob was really one of the best inspectors I have seen.   In addition, his inspection reports are very detailed and written very well.
     He was able to identify that the roof was improperly installed and was also missing the starter course and the projection over the house.  The first roofer I contacted completely missed this until I pulled out the inspection report for him to read!  
     He also notes some major issues in the crawlspace under the house which definitely could have been a big ticket item.  
     In the end, I didn't get that house (too many huge problems) but it worked out for the best since I'm in a better one now!  The sellers already had a home inspection done by another company, but I really respect Bob's knowledge and so I'm going to get a home inspection from him within a year to see what the first guy missed and figure out what maintenance things I need to plan for.
     Definitely contact HomeTech for an excellent property inspection.
